Jasmine Lingard is a solo artist from Louth, Lincolnshire. Jasmine is available for gigs performing a range of originals and covers. Influences include (but are by no means restricted to), Wolf Alice, Gabrielle Aplin, David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Nina Nesbitt, Radiohead, Jake Bugg and The White Stripes.
Jasmine has always loved music but was first inspired to play music when she was bed bound for months during a battle with leg problems. She used that time to commit to playing guitar and writing songs so that when she improved, she could play in public.
Jasmine first started playing guitar after she was given one on her 15th birthday. She taught herself to play, practising tirelessly to achieve her dream to appear in public. Jasmine started playing gigs a year on, playing venues from local pubs and open mics to supporting musicians on tour at Parkway Cinema.
At the very beginning of the new year, Jasmine has been focusing on creating new material for 2018 and is looking forward to her next gig at Louth Later on the 3rd March.
