  1. Just to keep everyone updated, in Jimmy’s memory we just started monthly Jimmy C’s Blues Jam on every Second Sunday of the month, in our local Crouch End N8 (London) just opposite the house Jimmy used to live. Aim is to keep Jimmy’s music alive but also to bring the musicians to play the Blues together, including very young musicians, giving them chance to jam with experienced artists. Next Jam 12/12/21. All events are being streamed online. For any questions email me please agasle77@gmail.com.
The project includes memorial tree, bench in our local park St Mary’s Tower, memorial plaque at Golders Green crematorium (already there), there is also a plan to create a local rehearsal space for young people to have somewhere to meet and play music together, currently looking for the suitable space (some of Jimmy’s equipment is going to be donated for the young people to use)

  2. What a fantastic tribute for a fantastic musician and a wonderful person. Jimmy C’s enthusiasm was so contagious, and his smile always lit up everywhere he played, and everywhere he went. It’s great to keep his memory alive, and to keep his music live.
